Early Life

Nicole Prascovia Elikolani Scherzinger was born on June 29, 1978, in Honolulu, Hawaii. She is of Filipino, Native Hawaiian, Russian, and Ukrainian descent. After her parents divorced when she was two, her mother remarried, and the family moved to Louisville, Kentucky. Growing up in a modest household, Scherzinger supported her family through various jobs, including waitressing and modeling. She was raised Roman Catholic and developed strong religious beliefs, attending church regularly. At 14, she joined the Actors Theatre of Louisville, marking the beginning of her artistic journey.

Career

Scherzinger's music career took off when she became a member of the girl group Eden's Crush, formed through the reality show "Popstars USA" in 2001. Their debut single, "Get Over Yourself," made waves by debuting at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100. After the group's disbandment, she joined the Pussycat Dolls, which became one of the best-selling female groups in history, selling over 55 million records worldwide.
