Early Life and Background

Zinaida Alexandrovna Kupriyanovich, known professionally as Zena, is a talented Belarusian singer, actress, and television presenter. Born in Belarus, she began her artistic journey at a young age, showcasing her vocal talents as a child singer. Her early career included participation in notable competitions such as New Wave Junior in 2013 and the Junior Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk in 2014.

Career Milestones

Zena's career took off as she competed in the Belarusian national finals for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, where she placed fourth in 2015 with "Mir" and third in 2016 with "Kosmos." In 2017, she gained further recognition by finishing third in the tenth season of Fabrika Zvyozd, the Russian version of Operación Triunfo. Transitioning into television, she co-hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Minsk, further solidifying her presence in the entertainment industry.

In 2019, Zena represented Belarus in the Eurovision Song Contest with her song "Like It," where she qualified for the final and finished 24th out of 26 countries. Additionally, she lent her voice to the Russian dub of the character Moana in the animated films Moana and Ralph Breaks the Internet. Despite the challenges faced by Belarus in subsequent Eurovision events, Zena remains a prominent figure in the Belarusian music scene.
