Early Life

Nina Sublatti, born Nino Sulaberidze on January 31, 1995, in Moscow, Russia, is a Georgian singer, songwriter, and model. Shortly after her birth, her family returned to Georgia, where she spent her formative years. Sublatti also lived in Riga, Latvia, during her childhood. Her artistic journey began early; in 2008, she signed a contract with a modeling agency, which led to her modeling for top magazines in 2009. While pursuing modeling, she also performed across Georgia and collaborated with various bands, including The Mins.

Career

Sublatti's breakthrough came in 2013 when she won Georgian Idol, the local version of the popular talent show. This victory propelled her into the spotlight, and in 2014, she released her debut album, "Dare to Be Nina Sublatti," which became the best-selling album in Georgia's history. The album features several covers of well-known songs, including tracks she performed on the show. Her success continued as she was selected to represent Georgia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with her song "Warrior," further solidifying her status in the music industry.

Personal Life

Beyond her music career, Sublatti is known for her unique style and artistic influences, citing Janis Joplin, Brian Molko, and Björk as her inspirations. She has a passion for tattoos, which she sketches herself. In her personal life, she is married to Georgian trumpeter George Shamanauri, and the couple welcomed their first child, Alex, in 2020. Sublatti's life reflects a blend of artistic ambition and personal fulfillment, making her a notable figure in the Georgian music scene.
