Early Life

Kim Jun-myeon, known professionally as Suho, was born on May 22, 1991, in Yeoui-dong, Yeongdeungpo District, Seoul, South Korea. He demonstrated leadership qualities early on, serving as class president in elementary school and vice-chairman of his student body. Suho graduated from the prestigious Whimoon Middle School and Gaepo High School, excelling academically. His journey into music began when he was discovered by an SM Entertainment casting manager at the age of 16, leading him to become a trainee in 2006.

Career

Suho debuted as the leader of the South Korean-Chinese boy group EXO on April 8, 2012, with their extended play "Mama." His career quickly expanded beyond music; he voiced the main character in the Korean dub of the animated film "Saving Santa" and hosted the music show "Inkigayo". In 2020, he launched his solo career with the EP "Self-Portrait." Suho has also made a name for himself in acting, starring in various dramas and films, including "One Way Trip" and "How Are U Bread." His versatility as an artist is evident in his discography, which includes singles like "Beautiful Accident" and "My Hero."

Personal Life and Philanthropy

Suho pursued higher education at Kyung Hee Cyber University and later at Inha University Graduate School, focusing on Culture Management. He is fluent in Korean and has been practicing English. Beyond his artistic endeavors, Suho is known for his philanthropic efforts, regularly donating to various causes, including auctions for the Shiny Foundation and supporting UNICEF initiatives for Palestinian children. His commitment to giving back highlights his character as not just an artist but a compassionate individual.
